Accessibility statement
Eartz aims to make the shop usable with a keyboard, assistive technologies and different screen sizes. We work against the relevant WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria and do not treat a widget as a substitute for accessible code.
Measures implemented
- a skip link and keyboard-accessible navigation;
- a visible focus indicator for interactive elements;
- semantic headings, regions, lists, labels and alternative descriptions;
- reduced transitions when the browser requests less motion;
- forms with labels, error messages and clear field purposes.
Scope and limitations
This statement covers the Eartz theme. Checkout and some interfaces supplied by Shopify or third-party apps can have their own update cycle. We test these integrations and avoid adding functions that block the keyboard or assistive technologies.
